Pet of the Month: Tiny Beyonce

You may already know this month’s Pet of the Month; it’s the World’s Smallest Puppy Tiny Beyonce who made headlines when she was born on March 8, 2012. At first the doctors at The Grace Foundation didn’t think this tiny puppy was going to make it, but she was a survivor and hence was named Tiny Beyonce. Now that she has grown a little bit bigger, Tiny Beyonce uses her celebrity status to help other puppies in need through The Grace Foundation’s S.N.A.P. (Spray, Neuter, Adopt, Protect) program. Name: Tiny Beyonce

Breed:  Mixed Breed… Chihuahua/mini Pin/ Dachshund

Age: 4 months

Size: About 6” tall and 12” long and about 1.5 lbs. When I was born I could fit into a teaspoon!

Diet: I’m not on a diet, I’m trying out lots of variety and trying to grow as big as I can!

Cool Trick: Being the AmbassaDog for rescue animals and making nationwide TV appearances.

Favorite Toy: A pink feather boa

Adorable Eccentricity: My best friend is Cat Stevens a grey and white kitty just my size

Dislikes: Large corporate banks who threaten the well-being of my friends at The Grace Foundation.

Things that make her tail wag: Hanging out with the “big” dogs at the ranch.

Funny Story: When I was really little my human mom Beth Decaprio used to keep me in her shirt, close to her heart, to help keep me warm. During an interview I finally popped my head out and the camera crew was very relieved to figure out what the extra lump was in Beth’s shirt!
