Christmas Cocktails

by Guest Writer

From Thanksgiving to New Years, it’s basically a non-stop celebration. We’re talking blisters from your heels, unbuttoning your pants after one too many cookies and drinks that don’t stop coming! (Not that we’re complaining by any means.)

We thought we’d share a few festive holiday cocktails that won’t break the bank, or leave you in a Taco Bell craving frenzy the next morning. Check them out!

1. Coconut Eggnog

1 can of coconut milk

1/2 cup honey

3 eggs

1 teaspoon of pumpkin spice

2 cups of ice

light or dark rum

Blend all ingredients in a blender and either add the rum and blend again or add once you have poured into a glass and top with more pumpkin spice. It’s a lighter take on all that milk and cream! Plus, who doesn’t love coconut and rum?

3. G, L and T

2 oz. gin

2 oz. tonic water

2 oz. lavender soda

Squeeze one wedge of lemon in last!

A twist on that traditional gin and tonic! Using a dry, lavender soda adds a touch of sweetness and a flowery after taste. Perfect for a refreshing drink after a heavy meal!
