Summer heat can be unbearable, especially when you’re not near the beach or a pool to cool off. We’ve put together five tips on how to cool off this summer.
1.Staying hydrated via fruit.
Use the heat as an excuse for a fun D.I.Y. day! Make these watermelon popsicles, or this easy banana “ice cream” for a fun, and sweet way to beat the heat.
2.Daydream Meditation
Turn on your ceiling, or battery operated fan, and close your eyes. Envision yourself on a beach in Hawaii. Set a timer for around ten minutes and enjoy the quiet time!
3. Watch a movie
Try watching a movie that’s set in a cold climate. We’re all for tricking our brains!
4.Embrace it
If you can’t beat em, join em! Head outside for some yoga or a nice brisk walk. Enjoy the sweat and let those toxins get flushed out of your system.
