Pet of the Month: Mr. Roofus Bojangles

by Guest Writer

Mr. Roofus Bojangles is a five-year-old Basset Hound. Originally Basset Hounds were bred to be hunters of small game, their strong sense of smell and low stature makes them the perfect searching dog because they could easily maneuver into small areas below the brush. The hunter in them also makes them loyal to humans, making them the ideal dog to have around families with children. This beautiful dog loves to wear his excitement and happiness on his face whenever he is doing anything he loves, such as playing with people or just simply running and exercising. One thing that makes Roofus Bojangles “Dog of the Month” is his active lifestyle and strong healthy energy.
