Pet of the Month: Momo

This month’s Pet of the Month is Momo, a 2-year-old pug that is the inspiration behind the eco-friendly and designer pet bed company, P.L.A.Y. (Pet Lifestyle and You). Momo calls San Francisco her home, but her work with P.L.A.Y. has made her a world traveler – she goes everywhere with her pet parents including trade shows!

For a pug she has a packed schedule but doesn’t mind because she loves meeting new people and of course all of the attention. She loves to play around but takes her job as the official pet bed tester of P.L.A.Y. very seriously. Her favorite is the P.L.A.Y. Tuck Me In pet bed.

Funny Habit: Momo would do anything for food. She loves leaving unfinished treats in the car so she can find pleasant surprises later (so we thought).
Cool Trick: She has great sprinting speed for a pug, which is not a fast breed. Her coolest trick is that “Puss in boots” look with super big eyes like form the movie Shrek
Favorite Toy: Kyjen’s Hide-A-Squirrel
Adorable Eccentricity: She is a chill dog and very sociable
Dislikes: Being alone
Things that make her tail wag: Going on car rides, FOOD!

Funny Story: Momo peed on the first two pet beds her pet parents bought for her, as though to tell them those beds are not worth enough and that inspired the idea to start P.L.A.Y. Since then, Momo has traveled the world to cities like NYC, LA, San Diego, Las Vegas, Seattle, DC, Chicago, Orlando, and even Hong Kong! She has a tough job of “testing” and approving all the beds P.L.A.Y. designs and develops
