Memory Tea: National Iced Tea Month

June is National Iced Tea Month and we’re celebrating with this delicious memory boosting tea from our friends over at DifassUSA. Check out the recipe and let us know if you try it out this month!

Berry Green Memory Zinger 

Start with a Green Tea base. Green Tea is known for many benefits including aiding in weight loss but did you know it could help boost your memory as well? It has small amounts of caffeine as well as L-theanine both of which help boost memory functions as well as brain function.  

While you’re brewing your tea, take some blueberries and juice or muddle them to help sweeten your tea and add extra memory boosting power. Blueberries are antioxidant rich and help aid in memory function as well.

Mix both the blueberry juice and green tea together in a pitcher and refrigerate for four or more hours. When it’s time to drink your Memory Zinger, serve over ice and garnish with a zest of lemon. Delish!
