MAKE SOMETHING MONDAY – RIBBON HOLDERS

I have a drawer full of bits and pieces of ribbons that I won’t throw away because I always need some for wrapping a gift or table decoration. So to make it easier to find what I need, I decided to tidy them up.

Toilet rolls provided the perfect answer. Whether, like me, you just want to tidy up an unruly drawer, or you feel like making something a bit more creative, this is a really simple project.

All you need is a cardboard toilet roll. Take ribbons one at a time,wind them around the roll and secure with a pin.

Now, for the arts and crafts ones out there, you need to have two circular pieces of cardboard – I used the top of a shoebox that I was going to throw out.

Glue each piece to the top and bottom of the toilet roll.

Wind the ribbons around the roll and secure with a pin. Decorate any way you like.
