Tasty Tuesday: A Skin Food Mask You Can Eat



The same fresh, natural ingredients you use in your recipes can do wonders for your skin. Especially ingredients that help with anti-aging vitamin C—which can fight free radicals, prevent wrinkles and give you firmer, younger-looking skin. To be honest, we hardly buy already made masks because it’s expensive and sometimes you truly just don’t know what’s in them so making our own is much healthier and fresher since we use items from the refrigerator and pantry!  Below is one of our favorite masks with Turmeric which as you all know is a powerful ingredient that has a ton of benefits! This mask will hydrate your skin and if you’re prone to pimples, it will help you detox! Give it a try and let us know what you think.

Raw Honey: 1/2 or 1 tsp (Raw Manuka Honey is the best-pricey so I don’t always buy it)
Turmeric: 1 tsp (preferably organic)
Cinnamon: 1 tsp (preferably organic)
Coconut Oil: 1 tsp (organic)

Before you begin, make sure you wash and dry your face.
Mix Ingredients
Slather on face
Leave on for 15-20 minutes
