Wellness Monday: Easy Health Tips In Honor Of Men’s Health Month

June is Men’s Health Month so we asked our Creative Director Michael for some easy tips that anyone can implement every week! Life can get busy and sometimes we forget to take care of our health and eat consciously – it happens to us all! So here are his top 5 tips to stay fit and healthy that works for him when he’s having a busy week and can’t take time to hit the gym or cook a healthy meal.

 

Pro-trainer:  Having workout machines can be a hassle sometimes because they are big and take up space, however, this stepper is perfect because it fits right under the bed! A mini-stepper is a small exercise machine that allows you to simulate the motions of climbing stairs, walking up hills and similar forms of cardiovascular exercise.

Broth, Broth, and More Broth: We dare to say that we are TOTALLY obsessed with Broth. Yes, we know it’s a “trend” but we promise you that this beverage is here to stay! Bone broth is a rich source of collagen, which is also naturally occurring in the body as a joint protector and stabilizer, it helps you sleep better, increases bone strength and supports your immune system. Kombucha: Kombucha is a fermented beverage consisting of black tea and sugar (from various sources, including cane sugar, fruit or honey) that’s used as a functional, probiotic food. It contains a colony of bacteria and yeast that are responsible for initiating the fermentation process once combined with sugar. Alternative commutes:  If you don’t have time to workout every day than try to work with what you have. If you sit all day in the office then maybe try to walk as much as you can on your way to work or on your way home in the evenings. Do you live on the 5th floor? Don’t take the elevator instead take the stairs – the steps you take will all add it up!
