It’s food truck season again and we’ve rounded up some of our favorite “meals on wheels” from around the country. Serving up everything delicious in vegan, local and organic fare, these mobile food businesses offer an healthy, innovative, sustainable, and gourmet approach to standard street fare.

Austin, TX 

Blenders and Bowls

Track down this festival yellow truck that provides healthy, exotic and organic blenders and bowls at hotspots where active Austinties gather for fun and exercise. Each one of their bowls are specially crafted to higlight the unique flavor of acai.

What we love: These guys are all about super foods like cacao, chia seeds, goji berries, hemp, and yerba mate.

Washington D.C.

Sweetflow Mobile

The environmentally-conscious fro-yo truck from Sweetgreen that provides organic ingredients and toppings. They’re famous for their delicious wraps and salads with favorites that include the Chic P and Earth Bowl.

What we love: Sweetflow uses 100% plant-based compostable packaging, they source organic food from local farmers and all their proteins are hormone free, antibiotic free and all-natural.

New York, NY

The Cinnamon Snail

Serving breakfast, lunch, and dessert, The Cinnamon Snail is a mobile vegan organic restaurant with an organic menu that changes with the seasons. I’ll take their vegan Jalapeño Brownie made with cacao, fresh hot jalapeño slices and agave nectar please!

What we love: Everything is baked and prepared fresh daily (starting at 3am), containers and bottles are biodegradable.

Los Angeles, CA

SliceTruck

While Los Angeles doesn’t have the best reputation for pizza, one food truck has the recipe down pat. Customer favorites, “The Grandma”.

What we love: SliceTruck uses KAMUT® khorasan wheat, an organic, heirloom grain, in all of their pizza crusts (a crust that stays crispy even after microwaving).

Boston, MA

Bon Me

This baby blue truck offers delicious Vietnamese food made with the freshest ingredients and full of bold, unique flavors. Famous for their rice bowls and soba noodle salads with a side of Thai basil limeade.

Where to find them: Rings Fountain (11:30am-2:30pm) and Boston University (3-7:30pm)

What we love: Bon Me makes the majority of its drinks, dressings, and desserts from scratch.
